the lack of progress on "fiscal cliff" negotiations in washington. on wall street today. the dow fell 36-points. the nasdaq dropped 21- points. and the s-and-p- 500 lost six points. no update on the fiscal negotiations. because of the elementary school shooting in new- town, connecticut. today - republican house speaker john boehner canceled the weekly republican address. saying in a news release --- quote -- "so that president obama can speak for the entire nation at this time of mourning." he also added, he joins the president - and all americans - in sending prayers and condolences to the victims' loved ones. >>jacqueline: this live look at the satellite and radar. we did see some light rain. we will see similar conditions and a bit of a break. clearing skies and cooler temperatures, overnight. offshore, in other rainfall with tomorrow that you can see on futurecast. as we see it is light. not as widespread as we've seen with previous storms. shower early showery but not until 5:00 a.m. on the sunday. temperatures tomorrow in a very cold morning because of the clear skies. 33 and fair
